James Cullinane

James is owner director of OBI Wealth Management Ltd along with Ivan Kennedy having Joined OBI in September of 2019.
Prior to this James worked as director of Sullivan Life & Pensions for 13 years and before that began his career as a Financial Planner with Irish Life in 2002.
James is married to Mary and has 3 children Michael, Jim and Conor.
James has a keen interest in sport such as Limerick GAA, Soccer, Golf, National Hunt racing and particularly rugby where he represented Munster at senior level and captained his club Old Crescent in 2007/2008. He now coaches his young boys at under 8’s and under 10’s along with trying unsuccessfully to get his golf handicap down.
James has a BBS from the University of Limerick, is a Qualified Financial Advisor and also completed a post graduate in Financial Planning through UCD which led to the Certified Financial Planner designation CFP® which is a globally recognised qualification. James also holds the Specialist Investment Advisor (SIA) designation.
